You see, when people, as well as the church, operate out of a works oriented model, they may love God, but their internal culture is not healthy. New people come and go, and the back door is as wide as the front. The spirit of death subtly operates in the congregation, and underneath, gossip, criticism, and judging become the characteristics of the group.

When churches walk in the peace that only Jesus can give, people are relaxed and happy, as they have experienced Jesus speaking into their hearts.
As a result, people are experiencing freedom in Christ, they are growing in Christ, and their churches grow as well.
The churches of today are either stagnant in growth or are in decline. “Growing churches” appear to be achieving their growth mostly through transfers. My friend, we have a serious problem in North American Christianity. Pastor David presents the common problems leading to Christian burnout -- how you can heal from them, as well as how your changed experience can benefit you, your family, your place of employment, your church, and GOD’S KINGDOM!

Having helped many people walk out of “religion” and into the glorious grace and love of Jesus, David & Jacquelyn have first hand experience with the dynamics that lead to apathy, fatigue, disillusionment, exhaustion, and dropping out.
When disillusionment creeps into the life of a believer, it is because they have believed in an illusion. Fatigue, cynicism, and finally, spiritual bankruptcy occur, and the Christian may throw up his or her hands, pronouncing that Christianity just doesn’t work.

As for the church, remember this: When a leader is suffering, you can be assured the congregation is also suffering. We can help you -- we can help your congregation -- we can help your children find the peace that only Jesus Christ can give.
