A Great Opportunity
The plan of salvation is a one of a kind opportunity. The Godhead, before the foundation
of the world made a decision to save you and me. All we have to do is accept the gift of
Christ and we are then part of the family of God. Of course being a member of the
family of God has its privileges and responsibilities.
Rekindle the Flame Ministers extends to you the invitation to be part of another GREAT
OPPORTUNIY. As many of you know RTFM has been serving others in ministry for
four (4) years. God has used RTFM to touch many lives, help restore broken families,
and lead people to have a transforming experience with Christ. As we have labored for
God we have always been impressed that God desired for us to have a retreat center to
serve others where we could platform our ministry. Guess what? God has opened a
door!
We have been given the opportunity to acquire a 250 acre turn key conference
center/retreat out in the country near central Wisconsin. The property is valued at close
to 2 million dollars. However, because God has opened a door and the owners are willing
to let us purchase the property for $600,000 dollars. We know that God is leading and
He will provide the means for the acquiring of this property. If I would begin to tell you
how God has lead I could write a book. I won’t do this to you at this time but let me tell
you one story:
As my wife an I were praying about how to raise $600,000 dollars, my wife felt
impressed that I should call a few people we knew to tell them the exciting nes as well as
to see how they were doing. Well, by the time I got off the phone with the calls that I had
made; God touched some hearts to the tune of $115,000 in commitments. One more
story: I was counseling a mother and her daughter. That morning before I left for the
day, I asked God to please speak to me concerning the direction of the purchase of the
property. Before the counseling session was over the counselee (the mother) shared with
the counselor (me) that before she left that she needed to share a verse that God placed on
her heart to give me; the scripture verse was Jeremiah 33:2:
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do
not know.”
This mother did not know that this scripture verse is what I needed to hear at just that
moment. Each day, God continues to encourage my wife and I with more wonderful
words of encouragement and blessings from God. Today would you take a moment and
